John grew up Roman Catholic in Philadelphia, PA and was brought by the Holy Spirit to saving faith in the Lord Jesus Christ at age 29 in 1993. It was through the radio and book ministry of men like R. C. Sproul and James Montgomery Boice that he grew to appreciate and have a zeal for the doctrines of sovereign grace and the rich Reformed heritage of Confessional Christianity. John is a graduate of the Center for Urban Theological Studies at Geneva College (B.S., 2009) and Westminster Theological Seminary (M.Div., 2013). Pastor Keegan has been serving Grace OPC Fair Lawn since 2013. John has been married to HaeSung for seventeen years. John enjoys fellowship with God’s people, reading Christian biographies, church history, and reformed dogmatics, as well as exercising and most of all, spending off-hours with his wife.
