I believe in God the Father Almighty,  Maker of heaven and earth.

I believe in Jesus Christ, His only begotten Son, our Lord; who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, and born of the virgin Mary; suffered under Pontius Pilate; was crucified, dead, and was buried; he descended into hell; the third day he rose again from the dead; he ascended into heaven, and sits at the right hand of God the Father Almighty; from there he shall come to judge the living and the dead.    

I believe in the Holy Spirit; the holy catholic church; the communion of saints; the forgiveness of sins; the resurrection of the body; and the life everlasting. Amen.

Sermon Summery

This morning in James 2:8-13, we will learn that we are doing well when we fulfill the royal law to love our neighbor with a heart made right by the work of God’s grace in Christ.

This evening in Mark 15:27-39, we will see in the response of heaven to the mockings of men and the cry of the forsaken Messiah, the hope of reconciliation and resurrection.
