    The Apostles’ Creed

I believe in God the Father Almighty,  Maker of heaven and earth.

I believe in Jesus Christ, His only begotten Son, our Lord; who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, and born of the virgin Mary;  suffered under Pontius Pilate; was crucified, dead, and was buried; he descended into hell; the third day he rose again from the dead; he ascended into heaven, and sits at the right hand of God the Father Almighty; from there he shall come to judge the living and the dead.

I believe in the Holy Spirit; the holy catholic church;   the communion of saints; the forgiveness of sins; the resurrection of the body; and the life everlasting. Amen.

    WELCOME TO GRACE OPC!

On behalf of the session of Grace OPC, I want to extend our warmest greetings to you.  It is my hope and prayer that as we gather together this Lord’s Day to worship our Triune God and Redeemer, you will be encouraged to cast your cares upon the Lord and to draw near to God by faith in His Son, the Lord Jesus Christ. If you are new here in Fair Lawn, please join us for fellowship following the benediction, and be sure to sign our guestbook.  We look forward to personally speaking with you, and if there are any prayer concerns in your heart, don’t hesitate to bring them to our attention.

                                                                 Pastor John Keegan

This morning, we welcome back Rev. John Vroegindewey to the pulpit. In Luke 24:36-53, we will see Jesus’ compassion for us in not leaving us without an apostolic witness, so that by believing in their first-hand accounts, we may also, in union with Christ, joyfully be witnesses of His majesty.

This evening in 2 Corinthians 12:1-10, we will find ourselves comfort in our weaknesses as our minds are transformed by our Lord’s countercultural words – “my power is made perfect in weakness.”

    Keegans on Vacation

The Pastor John and HaeSung will be on vacation from December 17 to January 5. Mr. Kevin Vasquez will open God’s Word in the morning and evening on December 22 and 29. Rev. John Vroegindewey will fill the pulpit on January 5 in the morning and evening and officiate the Lord’s Supper in the morning service. *Please contact the Elders with any concerns and needs.

    Deadline for Annual Reports

The ‘much-appreciated’ deadline for sending Annual Reports to Nancy Hemrick, our Annual Report Compiler, is January 10, 2025.

    Today, The Lord’s Supper

All who may participate in the Lord’s Supper are those who have publicly confessed faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, who continue steadfastly in that faith, who are members of good standing in a particular disciplined and Bible believing manifestation of His Church, and who, in accordance with the Scriptures, have duly examined their hearts before the Lord. If you are a visitor unknown to us and wish to participate in the Lord’s Supper we ask you, if it is possible, to make yourself known to a member of Session before the beginning of worship. The ushers will happily assist you in so doing.

    Next Sunday: Fellowship Luncheon

Next Sunday, we will hold our monthly Fellowship Luncheon in the Fellowship Hall. Here is a description of what to expect; following morning worship, we will hold our monthly fellowship luncheon. These delicious luncheons are a potluck meal. We ask everyone who is able to join us to please bring a main dish and a side dish, salad or dessert. Bring enough for you, your family, and a friend!
