    Give us this day our daily bread,

    And forgive us our debts as we forgive our debtors;

    And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil,

    For thine is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever.” Amen.

    Word of God: Proverbs 3:13-25

    Pastoral Prayer

    The Nicene Creed

    I believe in one God, the Father Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth, and of all things visible and invisible.

    And in one Lord Jesus Christ, the only begotten Son of God, begotten of the Father before all worlds;
    God of God, Light of Light, very God of very God; begotten, not made, being of one substance with the Father, by whom all things were made.

    Who, for us men and for our salvation, came down from heaven and was incarnate by the Holy Spirit of the virgin Mary, and was made man; and was crucified also for us under Pontius Pilate; he suffered and was buried; and the third day he rose again, according to the Scriptures; and ascended into heaven, and sits on the right hand of the Father; and he shall come again, with glory, to judge the living and the dead; whose kingdom shall have no end.

     And I believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord and Giver of life; who proceeds from the Father and the Son; who with the Father and the Son together is worshipped and glorified; who spoke by the prophets.

    And I believe in one holy catholic and apostolic church.  I acknowledge one baptism for the remission of sins; and I look for the resurrection of the dead,
    and the life of the world to come. Amen.

    WELCOME TO GRACE OPC!

    On behalf of the session of Grace OPC, I want to extend our warmest greetings to you.  It is my hope and prayer that as we gather together this Lord’s Day to worship our Triune God and Redeemer, you will be encouraged to cast your cares upon the Lord and to draw near to God by faith in His Son, the Lord Jesus Christ. If you are new here in Fair Lawn, please join us for fellowship following the benediction, and be sure to sign our guestbook.  We look forward to personally speaking with you, and if there are any prayer concerns in your heart, don’t hesitate to bring them to our attention.

                                                                 Pastor John Keegan

    Today we welcome back our own Kevin Vasquez to the pulpit.

    This morning, in Titus 3:1-11, we will see how the appearance of the Lord Jesus Christ establishes and purifies our relationships and communication with one another.

    This evening in Titus 3:12-15, we will consider how Reformed ethics must meet the pressing needs of the necessity of mercy.

    Keegans on Vacation

    Pastor John and HaeSung will be on vacation from December 17 to January 5. Mr. Kevin Vasquez will open God’s Word in the morning and evening on December 22 and 29. Rev. John Vroegindewey will fill the pulpit on January 5 in the morning and evening and officiate the Lord’s Supper in the morning service. *Please contact the Elders with any concerns and needs.

    Deadline for Annual Reports

    The ‘much-appreciated’ deadline for sending Annual Reports to Nancy Hemrick, our Annual Report Compiler, is January 10, 2025.

    Next Sunday: The Lord’s Supper

    All who may participate in the Lord’s Supper are those who have publicly confessed faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, who continue steadfastly in that faith, who are members of good standing in a particular disciplined and Bible believing manifestation of His Church, and who, in accordance with the Scriptures, have duly examined their hearts before the Lord. If you are a visitor unknown to us and wish to participate in the Lord’s Supper we ask you, if it is possible, to make yourself known to a member of Session before the beginning of worship. The ushers will happily assist you in so doing.
