WELCOME TO GRACE OPC!
On behalf of the session of Grace OPC, I want to extend our warmest greetings to you. It is my hope and prayer that as we gather together this Lord’s Day to worship our Triune God and Redeemer, you will be encouraged to cast your cares upon the Lord and to draw near to God by faith in His Son, the Lord Jesus Christ. If you are new here in Fair Lawn, please join us for fellowship following the benediction, and be sure to sign our guestbook. We look forward to personally speaking with you, and if there are any prayer concerns in your heart, don’t hesitate to bring them to our attention.
Pastor John Keegan
This morning in 1 Peter 2:13-17, we will learn how we can excel in God-glorifying behavior (cf. vv. 11-12) by our submission to earthly authorities which demonstrates
that our ultimate hope and trust is in our heavenly authority, the Lord Jesus Christ. This afternoon in Nahum 2:1-5, we will consider how through one man the wicked nation Assyria and her capital city of Nineveh was scattered and brought to nothing, so too through one Man, Jesus Christ, many sinners are gathered and brought to restored communion with God.
Next Sunday, Reception of the Wisz family into Membership
On Sunday March 24 during the morning worship service, Gerry & Betty, and Zachary Wisz, having met with the Session and having been examined as to their profession of faith in Christ, will be received into communicant membership of Grace OPC Fair Lawn. They will be received as communicant members upon their reaffirmation of faith in accordance with BOCO Directory for the Public Worship of God IV.D.
