In Exodus 19 we will learn from Israel’s traumatic and awesome encounter of God on the mountain that a sanctified fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom and the knowledge of the Holy One leads to greater understanding of who God is, and what Christ has done for us that enables us to draw near to God.
