In Exodus 20 we will see that the sixth commandment leads to the seventh commandment and the preservation of marriage promotion of the purest joy that is experienced in and pictured in covenant marriage between a husband and wife alone. It is their present possession, and to an increasing degree, by all Christians in the intimate relationship between Jesus and His Church.
