This morning in 1 Peter 2:13-17, we will learn how we can excel in God-glorifying behavior (cf. vv. 11-12) by our submission to earthly authorities which demonstrates
that our ultimate hope and trust is in our heavenly authority, the Lord Jesus Christ.
