“Freely You Have Received, Freely Give” (Canons of Dort II: 5-7)
This evening, in our continuing studies in the Canons of Dort, we will learn that the doctrines of predestination and the unconditional election of believers, and of the efficacy of Christ’s sacrifice to bring about their salvation, is the motivation for Christians, who have been the recipients of such grace, to freely proclaim the promise of the forgiveness of sins to all people in all generations.
