In Isaiah 34:1-17, we will see the “true nourishment of spiritual conviction” that comes from a grave passage about the dark clouds of God’s indignation and the coming storm of His judgment, so that we might have consolation about our security in Christ and simultaneously a grace-induced compassion for those face eternity under the wrath of God.
