In Exodus 19 we will see that the calling of Israel to be a kingdom of priests is the calling of the church, as a grace-transformed people, to fulfill a special purpose with two ends: to be those whose hearts are centered around the worship of the living and true God, and those whose lives proclaim to the nations the redeeming love of God in Christ Jesus.
