On behalf of the session of Grace OPC, I want to extend our warmest greetings to you.  It is my hope and prayer that as we gather together this Lord’s Day to worship our Triune God and Redeemer, you will be encouraged to cast your cares upon the Lord and to draw near to God by faith in His Son, the Lord Jesus Christ. Sermon Summery

This Lord’s Day we welcome back to the pulpit Ruling Elder Kevin Vasquez, member of Grace OPC and designated Church Planter for the Committee on Home Missions of the PNJPR. This morning in 2 Peter 3:1-9, we will learn of patience and expectation in Christ for the consummation of all things, toward all eternity.

This evening in 2 Peter 3:10-18, we will learn that the benefit of sanctification is the perfect mode by which we receive the new heavens and new earth.

Announcement

Nursery Note from the Session:

Due to a limited pool of nursery workers, at this time, the Nursery will be “Unstaffed” on our Serving Schedule. To aid our young families, the Cloak Room will be temporarily “repurposed” as a Baby Break Room for our parents to have a ‘way station’ before returning with their children to worship and/or utilizing the Nursery in the Fellowship Hall.

In due time, the Lord will add to His Church many families with young children and correspondingly, [the Lord] will provide a rotation of laborers to serve in the Nursery (Matthew 9:37-38).

Crossroads Addictions Ministry

Every Thursday evening, from 7:30 to 9:00 PM in the Fellowship Hall.

Pastor John & HaeSung will be on vacation from Monday, September 7 to Monday September 21.
Ruling Elder Kevin Vasquez, member of Grace OPC and designated Church Planter for the Committee on Home Missions of the PNJPR, will be filling the pulpit on the Lord’s Day, September 13 and 20. Please contact the Session of Grace OPC with all spiritual and diaconal needs.
