I believe in God the Father Almighty,  Maker of heaven and earth.

I believe in Jesus Christ, His only begotten Son, our Lord; who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, and born of the virgin Mary; suffered under Pontius Pilate; was crucified, dead, and was buried; he descended into hell; the third day he rose again from the dead; he ascended into heaven, and sits at the right hand of God the Father Almighty; from there he shall come to judge the living and the dead.    

I believe in the Holy Spirit; the holy catholic church; the communion of saints; the forgiveness of sins; the resurrection of the body; and the life everlasting. Amen.

Sermon Summery

This morning in Isaiah 53:4-9, we will see that the heart of the fourth Servant Song is the very heart of the gospel of God: through the substitutionary sacrifice of the Lord Jesus Christ that satisfies God’s justice, believers in Him are saved from sin, Satan, and death itself.

This evening in Mark 14:22-31, we will hear the grace of God towards His cowardly disciples, in Jesus' institution of the Lord’s Supper and the expectation of the coming fullness of the Kingdom of God.

All who may participate in the Lord’s Supper are those who have publicly confessed faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, who continue steadfastly in that faith, who are members of good standing in a particular disciplined and Bible believing manifestation of His Church, and who, in accordance with the Scriptures, have duly examined their hearts before the Lord. If you are a visitor unknown to us and wish to participate in the Lord’s Supper we ask you, if it is possible, to make yourself known to a member of Session before the beginning of worship. The ushers will happily assist you in so doing.
