On behalf of the session of Grace OPC, I want to extend our warmest greetings to you.  It is my hope and prayer that as we gather together this Lord’s Day to worship our Triune God and Redeemer, you will be encouraged to cast your cares upon the Lord and to draw near to God by faith in His Son, the Lord Jesus Christ. Sermon Summery

This morning we welcome to the pulpit Mr. Joshua (Ja Guar) Parks, a member of Westminster OPC in Westminster, CA, a third year MDiv student at Westminster Seminary Student, and under care of the Presbytery of Southern California. This morning, Mr. Parks will open God’s Word in Ephesians 5:15-21, where we will learn that the church grows in wisdom as Christ directs its life, the Spirit fills its people, and love marks its fellowship.

This evening in Nehemiah 8:1-8, we will hear how central and essential the reading, exposition, and application of God’s Word is to the reformation and revival of the church.

Announcement

Nursery Note from the Session:

Due to a limited pool of nursery workers, at this time, the Nursery will be “Unstaffed” on our Serving Schedule. To aid our young families, the Cloak Room will be temporarily “repurposed” as a Baby Break Room for our parents to have a ‘way station’ before returning with their children to worship and/or utilizing the Nursery in the Fellowship Hall.

In due time, the Lord will add to His Church many families with young children and correspondingly, [the Lord] will provide a rotation of laborers to serve in the Nursery (Matthew 9:37-38).

Crossroads Addictions Ministry

Every Thursday evening, from 7:30 to 9:00 PM in the Fellowship Hall.

Men & Women’s Prayer Breakfast, and Women's Book Study
This coming Saturday, September 5, 2026, the monthly Men’s Prayer Breakfast will be held in
Fellowship Hall, and the Women’s Prayer Breakfast & Book Study will be held in the Manse, beginning at 9:30 AM.

Next Sunday: Fellowship Luncheon & The Lord’s Supper.
Due to the Keegans Vacation, the Fellowship Luncheon will be held on the first Sunday of the month, September 6.
The Lord’s Supper. All who may participate in the Lord’s Supper are those who have publicly confessed faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, who continue steadfastly in that faith, who are members of good standing in a particular disciplined and Bible believing manifestation of His Church, and who, in accordance with the Scriptures, have duly examined their hearts before the Lord. If you are a visitor unknown to us and wish to participate in the Lord’s Supper we ask you, if it is possible, to make yourself known to a member of Session before the beginning of worship. The ushers will happily assist you in so doing.
