    Pastoral Prayer

    The Apostles’ Creed

I believe in God the Father Almighty,  Maker of heaven and earth.

I believe in Jesus Christ, His only begotten Son, our Lord; who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, and born of the virgin Mary; suffered under Pontius Pilate; was crucified, dead, and was buried; he descended into hell; the third day he rose again from the dead; he ascended into heaven, and sits at the right hand of God the Father Almighty; from there he shall come to judge the living and the dead.

I believe in the Holy Spirit; the holy catholic church; the communion of saints; the forgiveness of sins; the resurrection of the body; and the life everlasting. Amen.

    *Gloria Patri:

Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Ghost; as it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without and. Amen, amen.

    WELCOME TO GRACE OPC!

On behalf of the session of Grace OPC, I want to extend our warmest greetings to you.  It is my hope and prayer that as we gather together this Lord’s Day to worship our Triune God and Redeemer, you will be encouraged to cast your cares upon the Lord and to draw near to God by faith in His Son, the Lord Jesus Christ. If you are new here in Fair Lawn, please join us for fellowship following the benediction, and be sure to sign our guestbook.  We look forward to personally speaking with you, and if there are any prayer concerns in your heart, don’t hesitate to bring them to our attention.

                                                                 Pastor John Keegan

    Sermon Summery

This morning in Isaiah 65:1-12, we will hear God’s response to the prayer for divine intervention with divine permission, divine pleading, and divine preservation in the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ.

This evening in Nehemiah 6:15-19, we will learn how walking by faith and in communion with God is critical for the disciple of Christ to endure suffering and persevere when spiritually attacked.

    Announcement

    Nursery Note from the Session:

Due to a limited pool of nursery workers, at this time, the Nursery will be “Unstaffed” on our Serving Schedule. To aid our young families, the Cloak Room will be temporarily “repurposed” as a Baby Break Room for our parents to have a ‘way station’ before returning with their children to worship and/or utilizing the Nursery in the Fellowship Hall.

In due time, the Lord will add to His Church many families with young children and correspondingly, [the Lord] will provide a rotation of laborers to serve in the Nursery (Matthew 9:37-38).
