    “Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name;

    Thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven;

    Give us this day our daily bread,

    And forgive us our debts as we forgive our debtors;

    And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil,

    For thine is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever.” Amen.

    Word of God: Psalm 94:1-23

    Pastoral Prayer

    The Nicene Creed

    I believe in one God, the Father Almighty,
    Maker of heaven and earth, and of all things visible and invisible.

    And in one Lord Jesus Christ, the only begotten Son of God, begotten of the Father before all worlds;
    God of God, Light of Light, very God of very God;
    begotten, not made, being of one substance with the Father, by whom all things were made.

    Who, for us men and for our salvation, came down from heaven and was incarnate by the Holy Spirit of the virgin Mary, and was made man; and was crucified also for us under Pontius Pilate; he suffered and was buried; and the third day he rose again, according to the Scriptures; and ascended into heaven, and sits on the right hand of the Father; and he shall come again, with glory, to judge the living and the dead; whose kingdom shall have no end.
    And I believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord and Giver of life; who proceeds from the Father and the Son;
    who with the Father and the Son together is worshipped and glorified; who spoke by the prophets.
    And I believe in one holy catholic and apostolic church.

    I acknowledge one baptism for the remission of sins; and I look for the resurrection of the dead,
    and the life of the world to come. Amen.

    WELCOME TO GRACE OPC!

    On behalf of the session of Grace OPC, I want to extend our warmest greetings to you.  It is my hope and prayer that as we gather together this Lord’s Day to worship our Triune God and Redeemer, you will be encouraged to cast your cares upon the Lord and to draw near to God by faith in His Son, the Lord Jesus Christ. If you are new here in Fair Lawn, please join us for fellowship following the benediction, and be sure to sign our guestbook.  We look forward to personally speaking with you, and if there are any prayer concerns in your heart, don’t hesitate to bring them to our attention.

                                                                 Pastor John Keegan

    Sermon Summery

    This morning in Isaiah 63:1-6, we will see that God's vengeance and our redemption are intertwined in the plan of salvation accomplished by Christ's triumph over sin, death, and the Devil.

    This evening in Nehemiah 4:15-23, we will learn that because Christ has fought and defeated our ancient enemy, we can work and extend and defend His kingdom prayerfully and persistently.

    Nursery Note from the Session:

    Due to a limited pool of nursery workers, at this time, the Nursery will be “Unstaffed” on our Serving Schedule. To aid our young families, the Cloak Room has been “repurposed” as a Baby Break Room for our parents to have a ‘way station’ before returning with their children to worship.
