WELCOME TO GRACE OPC! 

On behalf of the session of Grace OPC, I want to extend our warmest greetings to you.  It is my hope and prayer that as we gather together this Lord’s Day to worship our Triune God and Redeemer, you will be encouraged to cast your cares upon the Lord and to draw near to God by faith in His Son, the Lord Jesus Christ. If you are new here in Fair Lawn, please join us for fellowship following the benediction, and be sure to sign our guestbook.  We look forward to personally speaking with you, and if there are any prayer concerns in your heart, don’t hesitate to bring them to our attention.

This morning, in 1 Peter 5:12-14 we will be reminded from “Peter’s Postlude” that his letter has been about the true grace of God, the communion of the saints, and the peace of God found in Christ alone that preserves his pilgrim church so that we can persevere in proclaiming His excellencies.

This afternoon, in Mark 2:13-17, we will see that God in Christ pursues his people not based on their merit but based on their need.

Today, Fellowship Luncheon:

Following morning worship, we will hold our monthly fellowship luncheon. These delicious luncheons are a potluck meal. All are welcome to stay and enjoy the fellowship meal together.

Board of Trustees Update

At the request of Thomas Mack, due to his new job in NYC and the additional travel time, the Trustees have accepted his stepping down from the Trustees Board, at the conclusion of our June 17, 2024 meeting.

The Trustees as a board and Grace OPC as a congregation, have been blessed to have Thomas serve Christ by serving His church and employing his particular skill set to give wise counsel during our monthly deliberations.

The Trustees are thankful to announce their appointment of Mike Pedo to fill the vacancy on the Board, in accordance with our Bylaws Article V Section II.A.  Mike Pedo will be the Class of 2025 and begin his term with this coming Monday, July Meeting. We are thankful for Mike willingness to serve and the addition of his gifts to the Board of Trustees of Grace OPC.
