On behalf of the session of Grace OPC, I want to extend our warmest greetings to you.  It is my hope and prayer that as we gather together this Lord’s Day to worship our Triune God and Redeemer, you will be encouraged to cast your cares upon the Lord and to draw near to God by faith in His Son, the Lord Jesus Christ. If you are new here in Fair Lawn, please join us for fellowship following the benediction, and be sure to sign our guestbook.  We look forward to personally speaking with you, and if there are any prayer concerns in your heart, don’t hesitate to bring them to our attention.

This morning in Acts 14:8-23, we will see how the Lord Jesus Christ provides ruling elders to join in the pastoral labors of shepherding His sheep through many toils and tribulations that accompany our pilgrimage to Glory.

This afternoon  Rev. Sam Perez will open God’s Word in Ephesians, where we will learn that God’s eternal purpose in the gospel of His Son is to effect a reconciliation of all things for His church and through His church.

Reception of Juliana Ferreira into Membership

Today, during the morning worship service, Juliana Ferreira, having met with the Session and having been examined as to her profession of faith in Christ, will be received into communicant membership of Grace OPC Fair Lawn. Julie will be received as a communicant member upon her reaffirmation of faith in accordance with BOCO Directory for the Public Worship of God IV.D.

Ordination Service for the Office of Ruling Elder

Kevin Vasquez and Tyler Teschon will be ordained and installed during the morning worship of in accordance with the OPC Book of Church Order, Form of Government XXV.6.

Annual Joint Luncheon and Afternoon Worship Service

Following this morning’s worship, we will hold our annual picnic and joint afternoon worship service with Grace Reformed Church URCNA Jersey City.

Cortials Membership Transferred

On September 3, the Session of Redemption OPC Gainesville, Fla. met with the Cortials (Filipe, Daniele, & Melissa) and received them by letter of transfer into membership.
