This morning in Isaiah 11:11-16 we will see how the plan of God to restore fallen man to fellowship with Himself occurs through the Cross of the Lord Jesus Christ, bringing meaning and purpose and joy to our pilgrimage in this world, even as we look eagerly for the world to come.

This evening in 2 Samuel 11 we will consider how the warning signs of David’s fall into grave sin are given to us so that we would seek, by the Spirit of Christ, to be where we ought to be, to think what we ought to think, and to live before God as we ought to live.

Next Sunday, The Lord’s Supper: All who may participate in the Lord’s Supper are those who have publicly confessed faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, who continue steadfastly in that faith, who are members of good standing in a particular disciplined and Bible believing manifestation of His Church, and who, in accordance with the Scriptures, have duly examined their hearts before the Lord.  If you are a visitor unknown to us and wish to participate in the Lord’s Supper we ask you, if it is possible, to make yourself known to a member of Session before the beginning of worship.  The ushers will happily assist you in so doing.

New Members Reception: Next Sunday Silvia Prince, having met with the Session and having been examined as to her profession of faith in Christ, will be received as a communicant member upon public confession of faith and baptism in accordance with BOCO Directory for Public Worship of God III.B.2.

Covenant Baptism: Next Sunday, Tyler and Kerith Teschon will present their daughter, Keziah Elise Teschon for covenant baptism in accordance with BOCO Directory for the Public Worship of God III.B.I.
