WELCOME TO GRACE OPC! On behalf of the session of Grace OPC, I want to extend our warmest greetings to you. It is my hope and prayer that as we gather together this Lord’s Day to worship our Triune God and Redeemer, you will be encouraged to cast your cares upon the Lord and to draw near to God by faith in His Son, the Lord Jesus Christ. If you are new here in Fair Lawn, please join us for fellowship following the benediction, and be sure to sign our guestbook. We look forward to personally speaking with you, and if there are any prayer concerns in your heart, don’t hesitate to bring them to our attention. Pastor John
This morning Mr. Filipe Cortial will open God’s Word in Psalm 47 where we will hear how the Psalmist calls us to praise God for his great victories and universal rule over the created world.
This evening This evening we will return to our studies in Paul’s Letter to the Colossians with Mr. Filipe Cortial where we will learn in Colossians 3:18-21 how our union with Christ, and His Lordship over our lives, impacts the relationships in our families - between husband and wives, and parents and children.
WSC Addition to the Morning Worship
By common consent the Session agreed to add to the morning liturgy the consecutive reading of (through the WSC, throughout the year) a question by the Pastor and unison reading of the answer by the congregation from the Westminster Shorter Catechism.
Keegans on Vacation
Pastor John and HaeSung will be on vacation from October 17 to October 30. Mr. Filipe Cortial will be exhorting in the morning and evening services on October 23; Mr. Kevin Vasquez will be exhorting in the morning and afternoon services on October 30. The Keegans will be back home on October 28 and plan to be at the Friday Night Fellowship dinner & Book Studies that night as well as for worship and the Reformation Luncheon on Sunday October 30.
